    I would like to know when a person diagnosed with IPF should start taking an anti-fibrotic. My respirologist pushed the weight issue as the cause of my shortness of breathe and I know that contributes but I don’t think that alone accounts for all my symptoms.     Hi I noticed a number of people on Ofev. Just wondering when or what determines an Rx for the medication. Is it a money or tolerance issue?

    Hi I looked at them and thought they were extremely expensive. I have been using a herbal drink made of 2 teaspoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of ground thyme and 1 teaspoon of ground ginger. Seems to have helped but is so difficult to really know. Has reduced the cough and expectorant as well. Try it. Can’t see it being and harm.
