Biography

I was diagnosed with scarring  in 2018.  My PCP  found scarring on the lower left lung and heard a “velcro” sound so referred me to pulmonologist.  My pulmonologist surmised the scarring was old and probably wouldn’t progress. Finally, after a second consecutive decline in lung function testing I was put on Esbriet in June 2020.  I do not have a cough (but lots of cleaning my throat at times and producing tiny balls of sticky mucous) nor shortness of breath but the medicines have impacted my stomach and fatigue levels.  I have always exercised and continue to do so.
