    In a conversation with my doctor recently, she confirmed that while IPF often leads to either a stroke or a heart attack at the end, she would have to state the COD as such – but nothing to do with the IPF.       Hello Bob, I agree with what you are saying. If we pass from pf/ipf it most likely will not be the cause of death but it is the underlying condition. I would hope with the current technology and outpouring of support and awareness for lung diseases that more diagnosis would be made by physicians.
