Recently diagnosed with IPF. Still going through tests. I am 79 year old female in good health, or so I thought. Complained about heaviness in chest, headache, sore throat,some difficulty swallowing , joints ache, mucus . After x-ray and CT scan said I had a 9 mm scar on lungs. I AM IN SHOCK. Taking inhaler, lots of Tylenol so far. So perplexed and sad. I was a teacher, no cancer or therapy for such.
