Biography

I am a 66 year old woman and I have had lung issues for the past 8years.  I was diagnosed with IPF following an open lung biopsy 1 year ago.  I started having SOB 8 years ago which has increased to the point that I am on oxygen 24/7. I also have Crohns Disease so I am on Imuran transfusions for that.  I have been turned down for a lung transplant because of other medical issues and am not getting any treatment for my lung disease.  My Pulmonologist tells me there is no treatment for this disease.  At this point there does not show any fibrosis on a lung CT. I’m pleased to find this forum and hope I can learn from it as well as contribute.
