66 y/o white male Dx IPF 12/22. My sister has it. My mother died from it. Dx confirmed with high resolution cat scan. Breathing test dropped from 52-40 in 6 months. Starting to get winded and air smells funny. Going to Cornell and private Pulmonologist. Feeling down and fatigued. Night sweats and blood counts hAve been off for 2 years. Not sure if related. Would like to start antifibrotic but Zi have a liver problem. To much iron: hemochromatosis.
