diagnosed in 2018, but HCT in 2016 showed some scaring and “ground glass” & disregarded.  Pulmonologist referred after 2018 scan. He diagnosed IPF in Jan, later he sent me off to have a wedge resection as he did not think he’d get meaningful results with a bronchoscopy.  Dec surgery results showed that the flecks floating in my lungs was hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Began oxygen therapy at end of Sep 2022. Oxygen concentrator delivered then & using 2 LPM at night. This June that went to 4 LPM and tanks.  I wound up with my first appointment last month with Banner University ILD Clinic and was evaluated (6 min walk) to needing 6 LPM. New 10 LPM concentrator – upstairs.  Stairs are a challenge but I’m NOT moving.  Using a connected 50 ft tubing when downstairs – and, that allows me to get into a bit of the backyard patio. Otherwise I generally tow around an E-tank when out. I include a backpack with a D-tank sometimes & spas a backup.
