Biography

I’m 61 and I was diagnosed feb 14, 2019.  Had chest pains  so my dr ordered a cardio ct scan.  It showed mild fibrosis.  Did blood work everything great. She sent me for a Pulmonmay breathing test and that was great. Stumped, I told her I thought it was from heartburn so I went to the heartburn clinic here and went through a number of tests.  Ended up having the LINX  procedure (magnetic ring placed around the esophagus) done 10 weeks ago.  Doing great. This wed sept 4, I have another pbf  test.  I have never smoked or used drugs.  I have one sister 3 years  younger than me and was diagnosed 3 years ago with ipf, copd, emphysema, accute   Asthma who did smoke heavily  and used drugs.
