Hi all, hoping this finds you doing well, Ofev has struck! Actually I’m not sure if it is the Ofev or the increase in the cellcept as the craziness started at almost the same time as the increase in the dose. I have for the last 3 1/2 weeks been having diarrhea initially like I was peeing out my butt, sorry if that offends anyone. Started…[Read more]

Hi all…saw that someone was reading the Outlander Series. Love those books and my hubby calls the TV program Scottish porn. I just finished watching season 5 and while different from the book, was still good. Been waiting not so patiently for the last of the series of the books as it has been postponed several times.
I also like Dan Silva he…[Read more]

Well a couple of days from being a month on Ofev and still have some still queasiness but nothing eating or drinking something with protein in doesn’t help. First set of labs out of the way and praying they continue to be good for the next few months. Hope you are all doing well as are we. Take care all stay safe and healthy

I know that it is early in the game but I thank God and my prayer warrior team for helping get through this. I pray that I continue to have only minimal problems and that my lungs get no worse because of this drug. I want to thank all…[Read more]

Hello Kathleen, happy to hear you are tolerating the Ofev. Yes, this is a good sign for the future. Most people who experience gastro discomfort usually have it right from the beginning. Good luck and I hope it stabilizes your lung function. Best wishes, Mark.

Goodluck @kathleen-hill-rainwater! I’m so glad to hear you’re tolerating this drug so far, that is indeed good news. I hope it continues for you, and similar to Mark, really hope it stabilizes your lung function! Wishing you the best – keep in touch 🙂
Charlene.

Took my first pm and am dose of ofev and so far so good. Had homemade coconut ice cream after dinner and bedtime snack while reading of whole raw almonds and 2 pieces of 90% dark chocolate. About 30 minutes later took my cellcept and my ofev and prednisone and went to bed. No problems through the night or this morning. Had my 2 cups of fresh…[Read more]

Thanks so much for letting us know how your first two doses of Ofev went – really glad to hear you’re tolerating it okay. I also take Ofev, and the side effects took a few weeks to set in (just wanting to be honest here) but the good thing was, they were very manageable as soon as I told my MD about them. Hopefully,…[Read more]

Thanks for the welcome! I have just been notified by Open Doors that I qualify for their program and will get my ofev on Thursday. I have PM with ILD, PF and I am on cellcept every 12 hrs. for the PM. Anyone else out there taking these 2 medications together.
