Biography

Hello  i have only just been diagnosed with IPF though i have had the disease for about 3years as i first started coughing all the time and having shortness of breath when i walked up slite hills with a tightness in my chest and a feeling like someone was sitting on my chest or squashing it, so i went to the doctors and had some test the doc sent me to a lung specialist and he said you have scarring on your lungs it will get worse and there’s nothing that can be done about it , nothing else was said so i left not knowing anything about my condition or that it was IPF and now 3years later i have got worse so i went back to another doc and she sent me for a CT scan and it has come back saying i have IPF i would like to please join your forum as I’m nervous about the whole thing and feel i need some support and understanding of what I’m  up against and what the future may hold for me and my family thankyou .
