My 38 year old daughter has a lot of scarring in her upper left lung with enlarged lymph nodes. So far her tests have included x-rays, CT scan, bronchoscope with needle biopsy. She has not received a definite diagnosis at this time and her next appt is in two weeks. It’s hard to get answers before the doctor appointment since the pulmonologist spends most of the time in the Covid ward at the hospital. The pulmonologist put her on 40mg of prednisone to help control her coughing which has gone on for six months. It was mentioned in her online health portal “pulmonary fibrosis” but we do not know if this is a diagnosis or something the doctor is considering. Back in April my daughter ran a low grade fever and the coughing started. The fever went away and appeared one more time. The coughing never has. Is it possible she might have had a mild case of Covid 19 and it caused the lung damage? Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or knows of someone who has.
