    Denny,

Do you think the DLOC improvement could be due to anything else except the Wei products? For example if you stated playing hockey again you probably improved your lung function quite a bit just from that. I am also a hockey player and notice a big difference in lung function when I play regulartly. It is like doing interval training.

An arterial gas test is really the only way you can find out if expelling co2 properly.

    Denny,

I have a feeling you are not referring to co2 as this is not measured in a pulmonary function test and needs a special blood test to be measured. Are you referring to your oxygen saturation level, which is known as sp02 and is nmeasured by a liitle device you put in your finger?

    Dennis,

In your Dec 20 post you said your only bad number was CO2 at 79%.

Think this means you are not expelling enough CO2 when you breathe out. Has the CO2 number changed since you have been taking the Wei products? Believe to test your CO2 level you need to do an arterial gas test. Do think it is part of a PFT test.

    Marsha,

Just curious if you know what your numbers were before you started the laser treatments.

The FEV and FEV1 numbers of 91 seem to be numbers of a normal person with good lung function.

If you mean they will not sell them seperately that makes me very suspicious, especially since they are charging what seems to me very excessive prices.

Looking over the 3 Wei products for tespiratory problems do not see why would need more than the one that reduces scar tissue and fibrosis. Seems like a waste of money to use other 2. However, could be wrong and that is just my initial reaction.

Has anybody tried WEI products since the last above post?

Denny/Richard, how are you guys doing the last few months on the WEI products? They are very expensive and make many claims about being able to reverse lung damage so am skeptical but want to keep an open mind.

    Karen ( @nimrod )

That is nice to hear. Could you please let us know how many laser treatments you have had. Also curious to know what distance you covered during the 6 min on the treadmaill and how that compares to distance you could do before you started the laser treatments.

Any thoughts on if Laser or Chinese herbs helped you the most. I am skeptical about the Chinese herbs.

I don’t know of anyone who has not been helped significantly taking the herbs. They made a huge difference for me and some people on this forum, Steve Dragoo, Dr Andy Hall and a couple others. Steve was able to go off oxygen while taking them and Andy Hall noticed a difference too. I know of a patient that had a tumor shrunk taking different herbs…[Read more]

    Denny,
What I am not sure about is if GLPG 1690 can reverse some of fibrosis stiffness and scarring or if it just stops from getting worse. Do you know?

They say early testing has shown that it MAY reverse the disease but I think the best thing for the scarring may be the laser that many are doing on this site, plus serrapeptase gets rid of dead protein in the body (scarring).

I just got my paperwork today in the mail and U of M is only taking 5 recruits so I don’t know if I will make it after I am screened. However, my disease has not progressed since I took Chinese herbs 2 years ago from WEI Labs and my last function test in June was my best so far!

    Joseph,

Those are impressive improvements in your PFT. Just wondering are you doing anyhing else different such as taking supplements? Also do you feel better and can walk a little further without getting as much out of breath? I had my wife do 6 min walking test before she started the laser treatments and she had about a 50% improvement in…[Read more]

Wanted to let everybody know about below Phase 3 trial. It is being done in 200 sites so if you check it out you may find a site where you live:
“GLPG1690 inhibits GPR84, a pro-inflammatory protein that promotes chronic inflammation in IPF. It was granted orphan drug designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in June 2017, and by the…[Read more]

    Richard,

I am curious about the meaning of DLCO results as not familiar with this. Usually PFT results are measured using FVC, FEV1, etc.

Do your DLCO results mean the FVC, FEV1 were also about 10% better?

Very glad to hear you are improving. Did you also do a PFT in July that you can compare to your last PFT?

    Steve/Andy,

We will be seeing a traditional Chinese Medicine expert who helps lung cancer patients in a Montreal hospital with exercise, nutrition, breathing, etc. I will ask him about this product as am sure he will know about it. Steve, do you notice anything better since using it? How much is a 1 month supply? I am somewhat skeptical as unlike…[Read more]

    Steve,

If you Google Nattokinase Scam by Curereality and see all the responses and exchanges at end of article think there is a lot of interesting things there. The people responding who used Natto have positive things to say.
