Short Bio

My 75 year old husband was diagnosed 3+ years ago, he is sure he had IPF a few years before being diagnosed. He was good for about 2 years, only using O2 while sleeping. He was prescribed Esbriet right from the being. The pandemic did him no favors, stopped going to Pulmonary Rehab, we quarantined at home, no visitors. He is on 6lpm when active, his mobility has been greatly affected, walks with a walker or cane, sleeps about 14 hours a day. He is on palliative care, which has been very helpful . PT comes to our home periodically, my husband continues to do prescribed exercises daily. He has fallen a few times.

my question is for those of you on high continuous flow lpm are you able to get around the house or go out occasionally? Are you bedridden?
i worry that he will be bedridden in the near future, horrible now knowing what the future will bring. I try to live in the present, one day at a time. I would appreciate all your advice.
