I was diagnosed with IPF almost 6 years ago after having a chronic cough for 5 years which I had attributed to allergies.  Subsequently, I was diagnosed with silent reflux, which my pulmonologist believes may be the cause of my fibrosis.  I have been stable and am currently not on any IPF meds and just take Prilosec twice daily.
