Biography

Hi I cared for my Father who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Sadly I watched him suffer for years, he passed Match 2020. I strongly believe that his pulmonary fibrosis was caused by his career. He joined the Army and was honorably discharged with a reduction in staff. He worked for 30 years with the Florida department of transportation in various positions. One of the first were herbal spraying which he was assigned to for 8 years.  They did not wear protective gear no mask no gloves. There were a variety of chemicals used carmax and round up were among them. He was asked by a supervisor many times to get inside the empty tank after spraying to retrieve an item or two because of his statue he was able to fit right in the hole. There is a coworker that also died a few years ago from pulmonary fibrosis he worked with along side my Dad. There is a coworker that also died a few years ago from pulmonary fibrosis he worked with him. It saddens me because doctors cannot find the source when someone is diagnosed with this disease. I think these companies should be held responsible for the value of life lost   I have no resource to help in investigating or researching this to protect others in the future but I blame the department of transportation for their negligence in the companies that created these chemicals without warnings being provided.
