Martha McAdams replied to the topic Zinc in the Role of Lung Fibrosis in the forum Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness & Advocacy 8 months, 2 weeks ago

I have taken zinc for years and do not remember the last time I had a cold or any kind of respiratory symptoms. Hopefully it will help slow the fibrosis as well.

Yes. The same! Now they say I don’t have rheumatoid or autoimmune disease the why was I diagnosed with Ankylosis spondylitis and fibromyalgia and can barely walk a 1/2 block due to horrific pain???? I had the lung biopsy thru my trachea but it just showed mold. They want to do biopsy to rule out IPF versus UIP. Not doing it until I have a symptoms!
