Hi,

I use Chapgpt and other AI’s a lot. In my experience, they are very good to provide integrated medical answers. Sometimes I think, each doctor knows there own field but integrated care is hard.

I now ask lots of questions to ChatGPT. It can read x-rays, pdf etc . so worth exploring it. Never can replace your doctors but good tool to get lots of answers.

I have question regarding relationship of DLCO and FVC.

I have very bad DLCO 35% but FVC/FEV1 are great.

I want to know if anyone has similar condition for which DLCO is impaired but FVC and FEV1 are relatively normal. Not sure what that means.

Any help is appreciated.

Why do pulmonologists do not recommend it? Is it covered by insurance?

Hi

I have been taking Ofev on and off for two+ years. Lots of GI issues and bathroom visits.

I tried cinnamon bread with raisins. It worked. It is only day 3 but so far so good.

Good that you are feeling better.

How long are you taking this treatment? I have heard this could be a short term gain and may cause long term damage (liver etc).

I have a question related to cooking fumes. I have lung fibrosis for almost two years.

I never thought daily cooking can hurt my condition. I cook and do like cooking.

Thanks for the information. Currently, I am taking Ofev. I have insurance through my work so cost is not an issue yet. I will be going on Medicare soon. Is there anyone out there whose Ofev cost is covered through Medicare?
