| Short Bio | I’m a retired English teacher. I grew up on a farm with five brothers and one sister. My sister and one of my brothers also contracted pulmonary fibrosis. I was diagnosed 4 months ago after telling my doctor for over two years that something was wrong with my breathing. She did no testing and said that I was just out of shape. I finally walked into an urgent care center. The ensuing testing quickly did the diagnosis. I already had crackling in my lungs. |
