I am a retired accountant and was diagnosed with IPF in July 2017, about 2 years ago. I began taking a 300 mg. dose of OFEV at that time and my symptoms have not significantly worsened since then. I am on 6 liters of oxygen via concentrator. To my dismay, my wife has had to pick up many (or most) of the household duties I used to perform, as almost any physical activity will get me low on oxygen.
We used to travel overseas, but now just take 3-7 day trips by car. We would like to travel by air again but I’m not sure if that is possible, given my O2 requirements.
