I have had IPF for 4 years, and have been stable, it has recently become worse, I now have oxygen when I go outdoors and have been referred to Wythenshawe (Manchester UK) for further assessment, including the possible use of Esbriet or Ofev. I am concerned regarding any after effects. like diarrhea, and vomiting

Hello Peter, when I was at the point where I needed a med that may stop the progression, my doctor presented the pros n cons of both medications. I chose OFEV because I like being out in the sun. I only had several bouts with gastric distress but others have stated they could not tolerate the OFEV. You may have to try both if one doesn’t work or hampers you with too many side effects. Best wishes Mark
