Biography

I got covid in November of 2021. I spent 3 months in the hospital. I was initially diagnosed with ILD and IPF. My pulmonologist prescribed OFEV. I opted for a second opinion. I went to a pulmonologist who is a professor at a medical university. She said I do not have IPF, but covid related PF. I am in pulmonary rehab which I believe helps. I don’t know if covid PF gets better. I watched a very interesting interview of a doctor named Graham Lloyd Jones who explained covid PF.

I don’t believe the medical field really understands tHe full extent of covid PF. I am still researching and trying to learn more about what has happened to me because of covid. I am on 2l of O2 at rest and 3l when I exercise. I have a constant urge to cough, post nasal drip, runny nose, and phlegm. Some days are better than others. I usually sleep well through the night.
