Hi Piet, thanks for joining the PF forums and welcome!
Hi everybody. I live in South Africa and was diagnosed 18 months ago and immediately started taking Pirfenex (Esbriet) from India and there is little or no deterioration in my condition. My advice to Sai is first to check whether his father does need extra oxygen.I bought a portable CPAP (constant positive airway pressure) machine and have not used it. Although my oxygen levels drop to 88% with exertion, my pulmologist tells me that short periods with too littlel oxygen will do no harm. I believe him because I want to!
