Biography

Craig was diagnosed with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis in 2021. He is taking OFEV, it has agreed with him fairly well. No stomach upsets, etc. he also had a consult not only with our local pulmonary specialist, but also with a specialist at Emory University. His position at Emery asked him if he was interested in a trial, and he said he was so they rolled him in a nebulizer treatment . The first year he was in a control group, but then beginning in August 2023. He received the actual medication through the nebulizer. I noticed that when his treatment started his coughing got worse and from reading I realized it might be from the treatment which is quite irritating to his throat. I’m not sure if this was a wise choice for himbut I’m dealing with a very stubborn person who wants to do things his way and hopes that this is going to be his helpful solution.

Since that time I’ve also noticed that he also has been more fatigued, and when he exerts himself more, he coughs more than usual. He’s not on any kind of oxygen. He does work out with weights at home does yardwork. He is very concerned about Covid and wears a mask wherever he goes.
