Biography

I was a heavy smoker in my younger years, & when I learned Medicare would pay for a lung scan, I asked to have one.  A subsequent scan indicated possible PF.  I was referred to a pulmonologist (had to wait 6 mos for an appt due to Covid demand), who ordered a high resolution scan.  That revealed, mild, stable PF.  He prescribed Symbicort 80/4.5, with an extruder 2x  daily.  Other than shortness of breath & fatigue, my symptoms have been mild.  I think the Symbicort has eased the fatigue.  I sleep more deeply.
