Short Bio | I was diagnosed with IPF three years ago. Have been on Ofev for 7 months. Since fall I have noticed a big change in my breathing, strength and stamina. Can not keep weight on, have constant dry mouth and the last few weeks I have had diarrhea. The episode of losing going backwards last fall has leveled out as I’m not getting worst. I walk daily with a concentrator and sleep with oxygen @about 1.5L. The positive side of my PF is its painless. Yes I cough a lot but only when I change position. I want to learn as much as I can about this disease of which there is no recovery. At 73 I probably am not a candidate for lung transplant. |
