Just had a CT scan. The fibrosis is still mild with not much changed from 18 months ago . however they found suspected lung cancer. They want to do a bronchoscopy at the same time they said that I was too old for any treatment. pulmonologist said that I wouldn’t die of lung cancer but more likely of COPD. Of course the question is now why should I have a bronchoscopy? because if they do find cancer nothing can be done about it. It’s expensive and not too pleasant. I have no insurance or anything like that so I have to pay the full amount probably around a $2000. I would be interested in
views of any of your members as to what you would do if you in my place. I am in my 90th year and I don’t think I’m going to live very much longer perhaps the most one-year. Of course if I was younger I would have the bronchoscopy.
Did any of you take advantage of the e-book that I wrote offering it free on my birthday

    • Hello Tony, it saddens me to hear your story. I feel you are a brave man for sharing your story. I’m sure whatever decision you make will be the right one. Take care, Mark.
