How long have you or the person that you are caring for had PF?

I was diagnosed about 5 years ago. It was a real shock, and it took a while to get my head around it. Initially, I had a dry cough and shortness of breath, which I just put down to getting older. But then things started getting worse, and after a lot of tests, I finally got the diagnosis.
