Hi Wendy,
I am so sorry to hear your news. Lung fibrosis is lung scarring – and all lung scarring is not necessarily terminal. I am glad you will be able to see your dr, After a year, (rehab and life changes) I am doing much much better. I went for a second opinion at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NYC (telehealth) and am under the care of a pulmonologist, not my primary care doctor. Please try not to panic, get referred to a pulmonologist with experience with COVID, and ask for a CATSCAN too. Some of the scarring could be from pneumonia. Not a dr, but please try to relax, they are learning more and more each day. Sara
Oh thank you so much for that.i really appreciate you taking the time to explain. Good luck to you I do hope things go well for you. Wendy x
