Update on husband’s symptoms now that the pneumonia is gone. He has gone from 3-5 L at eat & 8-10 L with activity to 0- 3 L at rest & activity! We are in the lengthy process of getting a poc!! He has been going 3 days a week to Pulmonary Rehab. (Totally last recommend this!) using treadmill & stationary bike. Much more energy & LESS shortness of breath! Has been on OFEV since Nov. 2019 & tolerating it well. May start working part time after getting his portable 02. He can sit at home or out for 2-4 hours without O2 on while maintaining level of 96/98 & heart rate in the 80s. So don’t take the IPF General prognosis necessarily as your personal future. Our wonderful upbeat positive Pulmonary Dr says they are continually learning about IPF & each patient is different . I learn so much from this forum & thanks to all!!

    • Hello Sara, thank you for sharing your positive experience. This is great to hear and I’m sure brings hope to our members and happiness for you and your husband. Keep up the good work. Mark
