30 Days of PF: Gaining Strength by Giving Strength
It’s day 29th of our awareness campaign and it’s Emma Schmitz’s turn. Emma had never planned on becoming a caregiver for her mom in her 20s, but it felt like the least she could do.
To Emma, her mom has always been undeniably human. Strong and tenacious, but never a superhero. She is still a positive force though, showing universal respect for everybody as if she deeply understands the familiarity of the everyday human condition. And that is what inspired Emma to help care for her post-lung transplant.
Emma feels like this whole experienced has strengthened the lifeline between them.
That’s one strong and powerful bond Emma!
