| Best advice for PF symptom management |
Get to an ILD Center of Excellence if at all possible. Best, most specific diagnosis you can get and don’t be too quick to get a lung biopsy or even bronchoscopy. Often, non- and minimally-invasive tests, including extensive bloodwork, high resolution (not regular) CT scan, good physical exam, history, PFT and six minute walk test can obviate the need for more invasive tests.
