Biography

Never exposed to the supposed hazards to cause IPF.  I’m a retired Military Officer.  My exposures during the service has been to dust while doing the field exercises and training but never come in contact with Asbestos etc. Married, five children, Suffering from IPF, Hypertension, Hypothyroidism, borderline Diabetes, borderline high Cholesterol, Sleep Apnea, discs degeneration with a few herniated, Arthritis, (Headache, Acid Reflux and Diarrhea are the side effects of Ofev).  Remained on Esbriet initially for about 4 months but couldn’t tolerate due to Acid Reflux/Heartburn, stomachache, headache, discomfort throughout the day.  For me, Ofev is 50% more tolerable than Esbriet.
