I changed doctors a few years ago and when he heard my usual dry cough he sent me for an X Ray immediately and I was diagnosed with ILD. My previous doc just said my cough was probably an allergy to dust. The weird thing is that my sister also has a cough and when she had an X Ray her results turned out to be ILD too! We were both stunned. 🙁 They apparently call this familial but only 2 of us are diagnosed positive. I am the oldest and my symptoms have started to progress 🙁 I’m actually going to start on OFEV tomorrow and hope I can tolerate it. I’m happy to have found a group of people who are dealing with the same illness as myself.
