What kind of laser treatment is offered for IPF? Where can I get this? Is it costly and how often do you go?

My Naturalpath put me on NAC, Berberis, ACES with zinc and fish oil, along with 2 enzymes to help break down fibrin in the lungs. I also use a a perscription for glutathione which I use 3x week by nebulizing it. For my cough I use a St. Francis product called Respircare. It really helps me

She would like me to buy a machine called NanoVi to help repair in the lungs so looking into this.

    Doing what I can………

I had triple negative breast cancer in 2016, went through chemo/radiation. My Mother has IPF and hers started after she had a stent put in and the medication caused fibrosis. She’s 91 and doing ok. My understanding is that if you have the gene for IPF and you have certain medications, radiation to the chest or Cat scans it will trigger the gene. The Doctor said my last CAT scan after cancer treatment showed changes in my lungs – just slight, but I truly believe it was all from treatment. My Doctor dosen’t agree, but I have read a lot about this and have told my 3 girls not to go through any treatments like I had just in case they have the gene. I don’t have a weight problem, don’t smoke or anything else. I was extremely healthy before cancer. When I’m in Florida the red tide can really affect me. I’m labelled with IPF but I feel like I know why I got it.

I would say if your fibrosis hasn’t grown I would continue with halotherapy as OFEV can only slow it down. Who knows what works??

How old are you Charlene? Are you on OFEV? I was told I can’t take any supplements while on OFEV which really upset me because my naturalpathic Doctor said certain enzymes are anti-fibrotic so was excited to try them. I’m 70 with mild IPF but am on oxygen for exertion. Looking forward to your reply.

The nano nutrients could be a NanoVi machine -in which you nebulize with. This was suggested to me, but it is very expensive to purchase.
