Biography

I was diagnosed in 2001 with severe 3 vessel heart disease and was looking into the possibility of a heart transplant when my IPF was diagnosed. I presumed the fibrosis was from exposure to insulation dust, asbestos, silica from spray paint etc but now I’m investigating the causal relationship of long term use of statins (17yrs for me) and pulmonary fibrosis.  Anyone else see a link between statin use and IPF?
