Charlene you’re absolutely correct people do not know what Pulmonary Fibrosis is. When my doctor told me that’s what I had, I asked what is that? Never heard of it. My husband and I went to town on the internet to find as much information about the disease. My daughter works for WebMD and had never heard of it. However, she’s an HR Executive and wouldn’t necesssary have heard about this ugly and horrible disease.
i plan to raise more awareness for Pulmonary Fibrosis until I take my last breathe. Everyone knows about the pink ribbon for breast cancer. Now we need to bring awareness to this disease and what we’re going through.

I’m very scared of this disease and there are days I tell myself not to be afraid to die and other days when I think about it I’m horrified when the end comes I won’t be able to breathe and it will be very painful.
i cannot discuss my feeling about dying with my husband and daughters. They say that should never ever cross my lips. Just put my trust in God because he has everything under control. So I have no one to share my feeling with. Even my best girlfriend doesn’t want to hear anything about my end because she too feel that God will take care of everything and I should have faith. Thank God I can share it on this PF forum. Thank you so much.

Has anyone ever heard of PAMREVLUMAB. They said it slows fibrosis progression, improves lung function in IPF, Phase 2 trial shows. PAMREVLUMAB was developed by a San Francisco based FibroGen targets a specific factor called connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) known for its role in promoting fibrosis progression related diseases, including IPF.

My husband order me the CBD oil. I didn’t see any improvement in my condition. He paid $265 for the oil.

I start Rehabilitation next week. My doctor gave me a RX for six months Rehabilitation.

My New Jersey doctor told me I could live from 6 months to 15years.
