Biography

I was diagnosed with IPF in 2018, but doctors believe, based on scans for pneumonia, that I’ve had it since 2014.  I have not used supplemental oxygen until this year, when a “perfect storm” of medical catastrophes felled me in January.  I am doing much better now, but struggle with need for oxygen and other daily challenges presented by having IPF.  I tried Ofev, but because of the medical problems I had, my pulmonologist stopped it.  I am very interested in clinical trials, but have been turned down for one, and am waiting for word on another coming up soon.  I constantly surf the internet and this forum for more information, and would like to participate.  Thank you for providing this platform.
