Short Bio

Retired and active up until May, 2021, when suddenly things got complicated with a persistent cough and flu-like symptoms that did not go away. Currently in Pulmonary Rehab program that has been so beneficial – I lost three months of the summer with almost complete inactivity, but find the program has increased my stamina and tolerance to do things I enjoy much more. I was an associate professor of Family Living and enjoyed exceptionally good health. My mother passed away from PF so I do know exactly what lies before me, but am meeting the challenge with a good attitude, excercise, attention to what I eat and learning to accept each day as a blessing.
