I started taking Ofev, 150mg twice daily, on October 12th. So far, no adverse reactions. Surprisingly, my coughing – both dry and productive – has significantly subsided as of this morning. I had been “living” with Hall’s cough drops, hot tea with honey & lemon, pineapple juice (which had no effect on reducing my cough as some have noted), and water. This morning, I awoke with no hacking cough and this has persisted, for which I am very grateful. I don’t know if Ofev is the cause of this cessation, but I’m delighted it’s happening. Keeping my fingers crossed for its continuance, I wish you all good health.
