I was diagnosed in 2018. No one did anything thereafter till my second cat scan in 2019! Changed pulmonary MD . Now at UW. No symptoms except Gerd after tests were done and they did a lung biopsy thru my nose and discovered mold, and other stuff. want me to have a lung biopsy on the operating table but I don’t know why. Idiopathic vs. UIP. Don’t know but is a surreal experience when i am not short of breath.

probably years. Discovered by accident in 2018 so must have been there a long time.
