My son, John Philip Horton has IPF. He was diagnosed 6 years ago when he was 21 years old. It has been a long journey for all of us. Last year, we almost lost him. A bad cold, turned in pneumonia and that turned in a 5 day coma. He is on oxygen mostly 24/7 since then and listed with a LAS of 38. He never recuperated fully since his coma.
He has started a blog and an Youtube channel. Handitravels.com he talks about traveling with IPF. It has been a great therapy for him.
