I live in a suburb Palos Park, just southwest of Chicago. Was Dx 4yrs ago, am presently being tx at Loyola.
My concern was not about the mastectomy, but about the cohesive gel implants being problematic as they can be affected both by warm & cold temperatures.

Hi Andy,
Laser therapy sounds very enticing. I have been diagnosed with IPF for 4 years. I use O2 on exertion. Was on Esbriet but was unable to withstand the side effects, tryed Ofev which caused elevated liver ezymed.
I had a bilateral mastectomy & have bilateral silicone implants, would this prevent me from having Laser?

Prior to going on Esbriet my Dr discussed my alcohol consumption – I did not drink much 1-2 drinks per week. She also stated use of Tylenol & any other drugs broken down by the liver be used with caution. My liver enzymes were checked & found to be elevated, caused by fatty liver. Definitely especially scented candles (Christmas, Cinnamon or Pumpkin & perfumes especially Este Lauder.

Yep! I nolonger tolerate greasy foods as well. I definitely eat smaller meals. Chocolates bother me (but I eat them anyway) I find My O2 drops, so if I am out I do use my O2 at 1-2 L helps. About 30 min after eating I tend to get congested & cough up mucus, very embarrassing , wearing O2 seems to limit this.
