Contracted rheumatoid arthritis 8 years ago and did not treat it got so painful, it felt like my fingers were small cherry tomatoes that were being smashed by ball-peen hammers.

Did not understand Ra was an autoimmune disease back then and that 40% of untreated RA suffers get pulmonary fibrosis as a nice going-away present from the RA virus. Nice. I think the giveaway was when 3 years ago my fingers stop hurting completely, which my rheumatoid arthritis doctor said my buddy had burnt it out then. Little did I know it was a rabbit seen my connective tissue in my lungs as a little gift that keeps keeps on giving. But there is hope once I had an attitude of gratitude that things could be worse, I had an adjustment in my life experiencing mode. 52 and not going down with the ship without a fight.
