Short Bio

Diagnosed with PF in July 2017 at age 62.  Was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for treatment.  Had a lung biopsy in Oct 2017 and was given formal diagnosis of Chronic Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis with Fibrosis.  In Nov 2017 was started on a course of Prednisone & Cellcept.  Have been on night time O2 since Dec 2017 & day time O2 with activity since Oct 2018.  Am currently on 3L of O2 both day & night.  Also have diagnosis of Chronic Bronchiectasis which adds inflammation to my lungs.  Retired from my job as Probation/Parole officer after being diagnosed to focus on taking care of my health & enjoy life as best I can.
