Short Bio

My husband was hospitalized with COVID19 in February 2022 for 18 days.  He left hospital on 2 liters of oxygen and able to walk with no problem.  Three weeks later he crashes with oxygen sats in the low 80s.  CT scan showed pulmonary fibrosis in the bottom third of both lungs with inflammation in the middle third of lungs.  Pulmonary function has remained 31-34%.  Has been on Prednisone for over a year and started Cellcept in June 2022.  Only inpatient pulmonary rehab has made a positive effect on functioning (3 hours of therapy a day).  Have been in inpatient pulm rehab three times in the past year.  However, my husband is has not been able to maintain that level of activity on his own when he comes home and ends up on higher oxygen needs and back into the hospital.
