| Short Bio | Update Sept 2023: Moved to Charlotte area (couldn’t take MN winters another year!!). Very happy with new pulmonologist who specializes in ILD. Still on 100 mg Ofev (I could not tolerate the higher dose!). I had one exacerbation of the disease last Jan after catching a virus which seems to have resulted in a loss of approx 10% of lung function. Trying to exercise as much as I can to be able to keep traveling and enjoying new experiences. Moved to Minneapolis in 2019 after 33 years in Maryland. Our youngest and his wife have the smallest grandchildren so we’re happily living 10 minutes from them. Our other 4 grandchildren are all on the East coast. I love foreign languages and speak Italian and some French. I love sewing and cooking. And we love to travel! Diagnosed with mild IPF in late 2017. Going on OFEV now. Otherwise very healthy, exercise regularly, etc. |
