Hello Pulmonary Fibrosis Community!

Technology is amazing!

For a little over a year Facebook has been allowing its members to do live videos from their pages. I tried this out on my own Facebook page about three months ago, and am really enjoying being able to reach out and interact with others from the comfort of my home. The response has been amazing, and it is a real blessing to be able to offer these live videos.

Flash forward to some great news! I’ve been given the opportunity to do a live video on PulmonaryFibrosisNews’ Facebook page this Monday November 28 at 10 a.m. California, U.S.A. time and 6 p.m. London time. No matter where you are I’d love to have you join me. If you can’t make it live, don’t worry the video will be there waiting for you. You’ll be able to say hello and make comments if you’d like so we can interact in real time. Please check out this two minute video I made to officially invite you!

I was diagnosed with PF 2½ years ago, so I’m right here in the struggle with you. I was forced to retire from my private practice as a marriage and family therapist a while ago, and have missed being able to reach our to others in person. It’s so fun to be able to do so again through Facebook live. On Monday, I’ll be talking about ways to be a good friend to yourself as we navigate this PF journey. There are so many things we can’t control when you have PF, but one thing we can control is being a kind and compassionate friend to ourselves along the way.

The Pulmonary Fibrosis News’ Facebook page as well as pulmonaryfibrosisnews.com are wonderful places to get the latest information, research, and support for both ourselves and those who support us.

There aren’t many people who really understand what it is like to have PF, but you and I do.
