It’s estimated that 132,000 Americans are living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, yet very few people are aware of the disease. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) can be an extremely difficult disease to diagnose, mostly because the main symptoms can be attributed to many other diseases.

Here are nine steps to help manage idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
