If you have a chronic illness like pulmonary fibrosis it’s easy to focus on the future instead of living your life in the moment.

What’s the future of pulmonary fibrosis treatment? Find out more.

Our resident columnist Kim Fredrickson knows this all too well and in her latest article “Don’t Let Your Diagnosis Take Away Your Ability to Live NOW,” she urges people who suffer from pulmonary fibrosis and other chronic diseases to go and live your life in the now and not to dwell on the past.

Kim advises that we should all make more of an effort to see people, go places and do things while we can and to embrace the life we have now. She explains that although her lungs are disabled, she is not. She may have pulmonary fibrosis but she is still the same person she was before the diagnosis and she refuses to let the disease rob her of her ability to enjoy life.

Find out about eight ongoing research projects for pulmonary fibrosis.
