Dear Mary, none of us know how long we have to live with pulmonary fibrosis. If having family meals together brings you joy and not worry, I encourage you to continue them. I’m sure your family is concerned about your safety and not doing too much, but I hope you can help them see that you want to live life to the fullest as long as you can and part of that fullness is not giving up on things you enjoy unless you absolutely have to.
